Plasticocene

Art and Environment at Rome's Bioparco

Until December 8, 2025, Plasticocene – Art and Environment is on display at the Bioparco in Rome.

A traveling exhibition that intertwines art and science to illustrate the impact of plastic pollution on the seas and aquatic ecosystems.

Housed in the Elephant Hall, the exhibition features six installations made from recycled materials, including the evocative Wooden Canoe on a Plastic Sea and the Family of Alien Jellyfish, symbols of the fragility of our blue planet. The exhibition is included in the Bioparco ticket and can be visited every Saturday, Sunday, and holiday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.

An exciting journey that invites you to look at nature with new eyes.
